Electric high-speed locomotive class E 19 of the Deutsche Reichsbahn (DRB 1937–1949).
■ Version with front skirts and imperial eagle.
To identify the E 19 series as an express locomotive, the locomotives were initially delivered in a wine-red livery. Due to World War II, the planned express service between Berlin and Munich was not implemented. Instead, the locomotives were used in “normal” express train service.
